Enable or disable an identity

Disabling an identity immediately prevents it from authenticating to the network without deleting it. You can disable an identity indefinitely or until a specific date and time, after which it re-enables automatically.

Steps

1. From the console, select your network from the dropdown in the left-hand menu.

2. Click Identities in the left sidebar.

3. Click the identity you want to enable or disable. The Edit Identity page appears.

4. On the right side of the page, click the red Disable identity button (if the identity is currently enabled) or the red Enable identity button (if it's currently disabled).

   If you're disabling the identity, set the Disable until field before confirming:

   • Indefinite: The identity stays disabled until you manually re-enable it.
   • Pick a date & time: Select a date and time from the calendar. The identity re-enables automatically at that time.

5. Click Yes to confirm.
